American Jermell Charlo defeated Argentinean Brian Castaño in a fight for world titles in the light-middleweight division according to the World Boxing Council (WBC), World Boxing Association (WBA Super), International Boxing Federation (IBF) and World Boxing Organization (WBO).

The fight took place in American Carson. The fight ended in the tenth round. 31-year-old Charlo won by technical knockout. Next, he should meet with Tim Tszyu, who is the mandatory contender for the WBO title.

Charlo defended his WBC, WBA Super, IBF titles and also won the WBO belt. In total, he has 35 wins (19 by knockout). 32-year-old Castaño won 17 victories in his career (12 by knockout).
