Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti travelled to London to lead the team in the first Champions League quarter-final match against English Chelsea, according to the official website of Madrid.
It is noted that Ancelotti received a negative test result for coronavirus. The 62-year-old Italian became infected on March 30 and missed the team’s match in the last round of the Spanish championship.
The match “Chelsea” – “Real” will be held on April 6.
French referee Clement Turpin has been named chief referee for the first Champions League quarter-final match between English Chelsea and Spanish Real Madrid.
He will be assisted by linesmen Nicolas Dano and Cyril Gringore, with Jérôme Brisard in charge of VAR with Willy Delajo as assistant. Frenchman Francois Lethieux has been appointed the fourth referee.
The first game will take place in London on April 6, the return game will take place in Madrid on April 12.
The referees of the other first legs of the Champions League quarter-final have also become known.
